Parenting Coordinator

Sometimes parties involved in a high-conflict custody dispute can benefit from the involvement of a certified Parenting Coordinator (PC).  A PC is an impartial professional who helps separated and divorced parents improve their communication and problem-solving skills as they relate to raising their children.  PCs are appointed by the court and are given certain powers and responsibilities.  Your case may benefit from the involvement of a PC if any of the following are occurring:

·       Excessive litigation

·       Significant anger and distrust between the parties

·       Particular difficultly related to communication and custody of the child(ren)

·       Verbal abuse or physical aggression

A PC can help parents resolve disputes without the continual need to return to court, reducing expenses to both parents and reducing the negative impact continued conflict has upon the child(ren).
